I am 19 years old girl from Latvia. In june I finished my Secondary school and now Im here in Romania sence last week of august. My activity is Powered by Coperate Social Responsibility. My activity challenge started at the 2nd week of september in Varadia village. In the bigginings me and my partner Ravan from Azerbaijan worked with children and youth in local Cultural house. We organized judo trainings, played badminton, flying plates and some other games. As well we take a part in local football and organizes one regby mach. In the same time we started to make a documentary. It means that we all the time make pictures,videos of our activitys. In other time we filmed life in this country side, who is the main thing in our documentary. This documentary will be about the dialy life in Varadia, about the transport system, work at City hall and that kind of things. For us its very interesting to work in this society, cause its totally different like we used to. All the time we see horses on the road and industrious people at the field, who work and take care for their future food products in winter. But in case that our documentary could be more interesting and exciting, In will keep in me other interesting things, you just have to wait the goal of our documentary:)
So..if someone asks: "Who am I and whats the reason of me in here?" .. Of corse also for me its the most typical answer - that Im looking for new, amazing experience, adventures,nes friends, life challenge. But in general Im here..hopefully..to figure out Who am I for real, what I want to be in future and how to get the dream ideas comes true. Maybe the life in country-side give me choise to look at the things on another side and to realise how everything is from basics. As we have no real options how to spend free time,- its the time for thinking..
The life in rural area is not very easy, because in here have to think about the things, what about peopel in city almost never take care. For example one of the most important things on my opinion in country-side is to make appartament warm in winter time. Its all about existing! Cause there are nor factorys who gives the warm place throught the radiators or smth like in bloc-houses. We have to make fire by ourselves. The main thing is to bo patience, cutting trees and making fire, be creative to using staffs-for make the process faster, waking up more early that always and take care of the warm and homely place without dangerous factors :) But for us this opportunity to live in community like this - the big plus is that almost never we need to think of milk, cheese or eggs, cause everynting in here is natural and local make by themselves and give to us as well. Its great!
And now back to my activitys..As we made presentation about Climate problems as well we need to practice theese things. Our Outdoor activity were te clean environment. Alse we showed to youngsters how to clean in enjoying way. Like teacher chose one leson, when to go out and clean the territory around the school. Youngsters like changes and I think for one day its pretty cool to make fun outside, not like always sitting in classroom listening and writing. We hope that teachers will use this idea in spring time or the ends of the last semester. Also my activities icludes all kind of workshops with kids like consulting nonformal education. As in our community we have no real Youth club where to make theese workshops, we helping to other team by Shirley and Manuel to craete new Youth club in Varadia. There we will organize different kind of workshops, some music staffs(cause we have a little room for orkester in Varadia, but I think there are no warm), also we will playnig games and drinking hot tea in the freezing winter evenings. This Youth club are just in the bigginings, but I hope..I know we will do this very well in old boulding. The Mere of the village and other City hall members will helping us, its in their interests as well. So this is my live in Varadia village and this is me into. Lets wait for news and see the future with goals and fulfilment of our ideas ;)
