I came to Romania as a volunteer of EVS project in 23.10. 2009, the program within this project that I have chosen is „Smile and the world will smile to You”. Main thing that I have decided to do in this project is to do activities connected to art with kids , help them to find themselves and develop talents. The first week I spent in accommodation in the flat and in Arad. I learned more about community here. Our coordinator- Alina showed us the places where we can work. At this stage I have chosen Kathy’s Centre, the Children’s Palace and Forestier to work. Beside of that Alina showed us some interesting places like cinema, theatre, parks, the office of Millennium Centre... Next week we spent in the Baile Felix near Oradea where we had on –arrival trainings. I learned a bit more about this place, about Oradea and community there. I made friends during this training and got new ideas about my work. I started to work after I came back to Arad but I have not been to Forestier yet. Most of all I like Kathy’s Centre, because I think that these homeless people really need help and I feel that in this place I can realize myself.
