My name is Verónica Villalba from Uruguay, I am in Romania since dicember, we are working in an EVS Express project, we are making a campaign about blood donation in Arad county. We work in so many communitie here, one of these is Nădlac. This town is in western Romania, Arad County. A former part of the town lies across the border with Hungary; this village is called Nagylak. An international border town, Nădlac is the main border crossing into western Romania from Hungary. It is also a centre of the Lutheran Slovakian community in Romania. Nădlac had 8,154 inhabitants. The ethnic breakdown was then as follows Slovaks, Romanians, Hungarians, Roma.

We went there first to met the communities, the people, and we were interested in a high school. We made interview to Director and a teacher.

After that we go to the same high school with our video and flyers ready and all the information about blood donation.

People received us very kindly, and students received us so good. They watched the video, then a Red Cross Volunteer taught first aid to the students, they were so interested in that part. After that we share the flyers with all the nessesary information about blood donation. We share some snacks and it was good to share our experience as volunteers with all students and teacher.

It was a great experience!! We would like to come back again.
