EVS Express

EVS EXPRESS project is the initiative of Millennium Center Organization from Arad, Romania and it is an EVS group project that requires the involvement of 100 volunteers from 11 states and 14 sending organisations having the stages for a period of 7 months, in average, each volunteer.

The project has 3 kind of activities: “POWERED BY CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY”, “SMILE AND THE WORLD WILL SMILE TO YOU” and “LOCAL CAMPAIGN OF INCREASING THE AWARENESS OF BLOOD DONATION SIGNIFIANCE”.

The activities will be developed in at least 8 localities from 3 regions of Romania and they are supposed to be focused on: making a documentary about the host, informing and consulting the youngsters about non-formal opportunities, the protection of the green spaces from the public domain, making painted small jewellery for children, face paintings, jumping bag, drawings with disadvantaged youngsters from isolated communities, designing and implementing a blood donation campaign etc.

The volunteers are encouraged to develop their own initiatives in the host communities involving the local public administration, private corporations and other stakeholders, as well. Transport, accommodation, food, allowance and monthly budget for activities will be provided by the host organization.
